Healing Journey

If you had to design a healing journey for a generic abuse survivor.  How would you go about doing it?

Would it be like the 12 step programme used by AA, or based on the Greif recovery system.

Can you all have ago at designing one and posting here.  I know it's a lot of work - perhaps it could be part of your journal work.

I'll use the ideas to formulate our next leaflet/book.

Take care,

Jamie

Hi Jamie,

A very thought provoking question! I have not had time to think about it yet but , when I read the post what jumped immaediately to mind was.... A properly resourced system in place within the NHS! as numero une...

I know their are reasons for griping about this and not everyone has the same experience "in the system." On the whole, once your in it has great benefits and gives support to many. I will get back on this. A GOOD ONE!

Rob.

This is a good idea Jamie (I'll have to try and put pen to paper, fingers to keys) lol

Seriously though if i was to design one it would be based on the Grief recovery system, i think its one that is under estimated...and would 'work' better in organisations such as the NHS (because its one more familiar with those working in hospitals...they just need 'instructions' on how to adapt it to other situations other than d*ath).

Take care, Raindancer
