I have periods where I have way too much adrenalin. I am so energetic and yet I cannot concentrate. I guess it's all a part of having mood swings. It goes away if I am keeping up my yoga schedule but I cant always because of my fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue so it comes roaring back. It's a cycle- I'll do yoga and feel well and balanced but then the fatigue kicks in and I'll need a rest from it which brings the adrenalin back that forces me to try yoga again! I give up sugar (mostly) when it starts up but I need some good calming down ideas for when I'm too tired to do yoga if anyone has any?
This may sound to simple to work but controlled breathing exercises help alot. If you can't do that, a quick jog or bicycle somwhere, just to release the stored up energy. Simple activities that don't take any prep time or concentration. Even just yelling as loud as you can may help
Thanks Claudine I like the yelling one but I dont know if my neighbours would approve! I sing quietly sometimes and that helps. If I dont get rid of it I get anxiety and mood swings. Its so wierd how the physical affects the mental and mental affects the physical. Humans are strange creatures.
