Horrible weather!

ok this may sound weird but I love bad weather.

I live on top of a hill so that when it rains, I can pull all of my blinds up, turn off the lights and watch. It's so much bigger than my problems, like watching the ocean. Everyone has to stop what they're doing and deal with it. People are more likely to be helpful to each other. Little heroic acts pop up all over the place. True nature revealed.

I don't mind the rain but it is a little on the heavy side I am frightened of the wind and the forecasters say its getting a lot colder I think I shall become a tortoise and hibernate for the winter

Hi All,

I am with C on this one, love being outside in the bad weather the lighting and thunder it's like for me, thats what I pretend, I think it's my anger coming out.

the weather beating against you face, the full force of mother nature, oh fantastic, so dark and meansing. I take a really big deep breath, then when I breath out it's all the bad stuff coming out of me and turns into the weather, and my anger and pain is gone. WOW!

Uhmm Anyone else think I am a bit wired here!

Hi its morning, and although not totally dry its not raining - if one wears glasses there is nothing pleasant about the rain, you end up not being able to see, and that I cannot deal with. Am frightened of the dark, and I am frightened of people creeping up unawares. Watching the weather from inside is no problem! Some of the good things about winter is being inside in the warm, can't say I like autumn ove much, the harvesting is good, but having to clear the garden, and how bare it looks! I am not frightened of storms indeed I like them, becasue the atmosphere afterwards is so amazing.

However, if I have to drive there are two conditions I dislike, heavy rain, and heavy rain in the dark, and yesterday evening I had to drive!

Today is going to be a good day! I am spending my wedding anniversary with my granddaughter, and my partner is spending his in tropical heat in the far flung corners of the world!

Happy Wedding Anniversary! I wonder how many years that is for you both? Will you manage to have contact with him at all?

I have to say that I do like Autumnal days when the weather is blue skies, and sunshine. I love taking the dog for a walk in the woods with the glorious colours of the trees before the leaves end up as a soggy, slippery mass on the ground.

I HATE thunderstorms, actually it's more than that - I' have a phobia about them. Cant understand you people who actually watch them! - very strange!!......

And rain, well it depends as you say where you are. I love the smell of the rain after a dry spell. That musty smell is just gorgeous.

Ah well. needs must - Cheddar needs her walk - probably to the woods again.
