Computer Crash at HAVOCA

OK - i thought I'd fixed it!


Yesterday at 1600 my computer crashed - - when it restarted it couldn't access the hard drive.


Therefore I've had to reinstall windows onto the drive and totally wipe everything else.  I've lost nearly everything.


The last back up I did was a couple of months ago - so I've got about 500/750 email addresses we have in our mailing list.


At the moment I don't have any email working - that's this afternoons task.


I'll make an annoucement once service is resumed.

ps on top of that I had to go into work last night to deal with an emergency and didn't get to bed until the early hours of the morning.

Thanks Frog and Jane,


I think everything is back up and runnning at last.  I can't put a value to the stuff I've lost.


I've ordered an external harddrive so that I can do full backups in future.


Hopefully I won't be caught out again!

Jamie,
Thanks so much for everything you do for this site. I'm sorry you lost so much information. I thought you'd mentioned something about losing pictures too. My husband and I have hundreds on our PC - we don't have them backed up either. This will be our reminder to do that!
