Ladies and Gentlemen,


I am very proud to introduce to you our new title page found here:

The vidoe was produced and kindly donated by BPDWorld - who I have to say have the most impressive website in the whole www.  Over the past week or so Joshua, their founder, has given me a lot of help and encouragement.  He has been a big inspiration, why not drop him a line and thank him on our behalf - josh@bpdworld.org

Wow, Jamie & Joshua:

I'm blown away. Content, form, timing, layout - it's all there. The content is exactly what the 'outside world' needs to hear, and the layout is truly professional.

I have a feeling that this website will really grow with that intro page - hope your server will be up to handling all the increased traffic!

Job very VERY well done.

I have just checked out the new title page, and I think it is very informative, and easy to read.


However I have reservations.



  1. It took a long time to start indicating it was loading, and I know on other sites I would have given up an moved onto the next site.  This may have been because I needed another program to be oaded over the internet to see the video and may be quicker next time.

  2. I ran out of time to read some of the messages, and I do not consider myself a slow reader, rather a careful one.

  3. It was only at the end of the video that I moved the page up to see what was at the bottom, and I suddenly found a way of skipping the intro.  This was not visible on the screen when the page came up, and I personally would have like to have seen that straight away.

I still think it is a good video.

Hello Jamie,


I was truley moved by the video.It reminds me of the abused children I work with. It truly touched my heart.It really needs to be a TV commercial for awareness on child abuse.


I hope also it would move people enough to get involved with organizations helping abused children.


Also the skip intro is fine on my computer.It only had to load one time on my computer now it goes right into the video.


As always your hard work and the time you give to others is greatly appreciated.

Hi


Thanks for all the feedback.


I'm afraid loading times have to do with speed of connection - rather than speed of video.  The video is about 520kb of information(about 3secs on IDSN and 60secs on Dial up) - which isn't that big really.  .


Most people view the internet on 600x800 which would mean the skip button should be visible, I'll move it for those of you still using smaller screen resolutions. .


Josh has kindly agreed to do one for the healing journey in the future, so we'll have to watch this space for that one.

Love all the replies been reading an there great made me Laff alot!!!!


New intro page, scared the hell out of me but it's good! breaks the silence, brings it home, we have to brake the taboo suject of abuse and stamp it out. And let others Know to be aware, and to be vidulant!
