just thought id let you know, i went to my eight year old daughters first parent teacher meeting of this school year yesterday.


her teacher said, she was polite, hardworking, kind and intelligent, she wished all her children were like her!!


i am the proudest mum in the world.


my history has not rubbed off, she is adorable, loved and cared for immensely, words cannot describe enough how i feel for her.


LOOK WHAT I DID!!!!!!!

And what a proud mum you should be!  Comments like that can make us feel really good and it's even better to hear you more positive.  It doesn't take away the pain of the last week but I'm pleased for you that the teacher indirectly praised and encouraged you - I think you so needed to hear that. 


Good on you Jane - I would imagine that your parenting skills are pretty good.  You come across as the kind of parent I would have loved to have......

Shes just like her mum then jane well done isn't it nice when we prove our children do not have to be damaged by our pasts
