Hi!

You do not watch enough wildlife programs!! Probably not enough hours in the day!

Like all good babys I am sure they stay in their "nests" (can't remember what squirrels homes are called) until big enough for the outside world?

Thats were I would like to be right now, it feels like winter is not far away.

I have a family of squirrels that are visiting my Garden and wrecking Havoc. Mum and Dad are Syril and Selina and there two off spring are called Selia and Secil what I want to know is what happens to the babys when the parents have enough are they cast out they just seem to disappear. Mark my eldest son takes great pleasure in winding me up by saying he has seen them running along the road with a red spotted hanky tied on a stick amusing for him

Squirrels homes are called dreys. It's a good point this baby squirrels question. Perhaps they remain holed up in their snug dreys until they are babies no longer. Or maybe they've all had their living daylights scared out of them by our labrador who loves chasing them on walks - never catches them ! but has fun nonetheless.

It's so good to find some humour here and similar to my own brand. Made me smile - thank you
